Star Trek:

The Original Series

The original series was one of the best shows in the late 60's. A culmination
of one man's dream,Gene Roddenberry. This show had it all... aliens, action,
love, and subjects that made you think.

By todays standards the show might seem a little cheesy. But one must
remember the time that it came from. They had little money to spend per episode
and had to stretch what little they did get. In an era where almost every special
effect is done on computer, it's hard to understand what the original series had to
go through to come up with special effects.

I look past such things though and enjoy the series for what it has to offer. If you
haven't seen any of the original series I encourage you to find an episode or two
and give it a try. Gene had a vision to share with the world and I for one think he
did a wonderful job!
